Vic Varallo Mystery #6

Malicious mischief

Rate this book
The phone never stops ringing at the Glendale, Calif. police department but there's no extended coverage in the follow-ups by Det. Varallo and Lt. O'Connor of a hit-and-run accident killing a mother and two children, three flower children growing pot in flower pots, repeated dog-nappings and ransom demands, rape, robbery, a young girl's suicide and on. It's a multiple choice procedural and if you get tired of one question you can move on to the next without missing out on much of anything.

Dognapping is at the center of the story of crimes committed in Glendale, California. The book is a police procedural without the sex, profanity, and drugs on 21st century works. Overall it is an enjoyable read that I would allow my children to read.

Loved it

There is just something about the series and the characters that it draws me in and away I go. Just good old fashion police procedural
