Alpha Conan agrees to help out a friend and take his place attending a charity auction, where bidders will bid on a dessert and a date with the omega who made the dish. Omega Gage is supposed to be bringing his mousse to the auction but a last minute snafu changes his plan. The two share an awkward meet cute but neither act on the hint of something between the two until a hotel elevator mishap finds the two in close proximity. Things heat up between Conan and Gage and their relationship turns to a new direction when they find themselves expecting. Sweet MM romance with mpreg.

I enjoy the Bake Sale Bachelors series, and this book is a nice addition. Alpha Conan and Omega Gage meet while checking into the hotel for the auction, and they end up missing it altogether. They are a sweet couple in a role-reversal kind of story, with Gage seemingly more alpha and Conan more omega in some ways. While I wished for a bit more depth to their relationship, I did enjoy the story and am looking forward to others in the series.

Instantly Forgetable!
I have read this book via Kindle Unlimited after it previewed on Kindle suggestions.
Unfortunately, that's the only positive thing I have to say about the book.
Gage - Omega - who had a bubbly personality at the start of the book but progressed on to being a slob.
Acts like an Alpha towards Conan.
Conan - Alpha - enjoys being told what to do by Gage. Acts like Mr Bean throughout most of the book.
They meet up in the hotel prior to going to their respective rooms, and again at the lifts on heading to the Bake Sale Auction.
Alas, they are unable to attend the auction.
They are both moved into the Penthouse Suite of the hotel.
They become close and personal.
Prior to leaving the hotel Gage asked if they can be versatile and swap roles. Conan doesn't respond.
They keep in touch and meet up.
Gage becomes pregnant.
Baby is born.
Ends with Gage mumbling that they will be versatile and swap roles!
For me, this is a 40-50 page book that is stretched out to over 100 pages. Sadly, you can tell due to the very slow and tedious pace of the plotline.
My understanding of the Alpha/Omega/Beta roles and the equivalent to the gay community is:
Alpha = an out and out Top
Omega = an out and out Bttm
Beta = versatile
Yet this author continues to push on with the Alphas/Omegas are all versatile. Which, for me, is very insulting to the gay community. It shows that the author is very ignorant of gay lifestyles.
Overall, in my opinion, this book is instantly forgetable. It plods on and feels awkward and disjointed.
Just one question, what is the actual bake sale items being auctioned in this series?
As one book states, cakes are the theme for this series auction.
Another book in this series, they bake cookies for the auction.

Candy Cane Craving is a book in the ‘Bake Sale Bachelors Season Five’ collection. It stars Conan, an Alpha, and Gage, an omega. This is told in first person from both Conan and Gage’s povs.
I’ve read books by this author when they’ve collaborated with other authors writing mpreg stories. This is the first book I’ve read that is strictly by this author, and I have to say it’s better written than when this author teamed up with the other writers. This book had a unique plot with characters that have distinct voices. It might not seem that baking bachelors and a bake sale is unique, it is a common trope, but this author handled it differently than other stories, making this book more interesting. I also enjoyed the characters because they didn’t follow the stereotypical A/o relationships in the omegaverse written by a certain group of authors. This author might want to consider writing more on their own, because this book definitely stood out in a positive way.
The plot gives a brief rundown of the plot, and I don’t want to give more away because it’ll spoil the story. Both Conan and Gage were different from the usual A/o relationship in mpreg books. Conan did have moments where he didn’t handle situations well, and Gage had to talk him out of his panic. At the same time Gage also had moments of depression and uncertainty, and Conan had to reassure him. It was done in a realistic way, not something contrived to make drama for the story. I also want to mention the author created two distinct characters with unique voices that carried throughout the story. There are moments where each characters’ voice changed, but that was pertinent to the situation they were in. I could believe in them as a couple and was invested in their story.
The author did a great job with plot and characters. Creating a plot that stood out from other mpreg stories and characters that had their own individual voices. I recommend this book to others and give this a solid 4 Stars.

This book is a cute romance set in the omega verse. Conan and Gage are in town to attend a charity bachelor auction and they have a meet cute at the elevator, the attraction between them very obvious, and get off on the same floor. Coincidentally, they meet at the elevator to go down to the auction, but because of a malfunction, they get stuck and Conan freaks out. In compensation for the inconvenience, the hotel puts them up in the penthouse suite and gifts them endless food and drinks. They end up together and vow to keep seeing each other after they go back to their respective lives. Time goes on and six weeks later, Conan goes to visit Gage and discovers he is sick and then together, they find out Gage is pregnant. Conan vows to be a stand up dad and they eventually move in together and become a couple.
I liked this book, but it felt rushed and the characters were a bit shallow, which is generally the case with alphas and omegas. I did really like that Conan was not your typical macho alpha and Gage was a bossy, more “masculine” alpha-like omega. The MC’s did have a great chemistry together and it had a cute storyline. I also really liked that the alpha was the one to put a stop to the funny business when the omega had been drinking champagne. It was a good book to read, even though it was a fluff piece.

This is the story of Conan and Gage. Conan is an alpha who fully supports raising funds for the hospital as they helped his brother while growing up. If the added bonus is a date with an available omega, all the better. Gage is an omega who is from out of town and bringing his dessert with him. Unfortunately, as series of unlucky happenings cause him to quick whip something up in his hotel room. Besides, who can resists candy pops. The two meet on the way to the auction. Trapped in a hotel elevator. This is their story. I really liked that this book showed the omega as as the stronger of the two. Omega's can be strong and independent. I am very happy that this book chose to go that route. It is not the usual in this style of book. But I will say that this is not my favourite by this author. I found the story just okay. It didn't really grab me or have me invested in the outcome. I actually found it kind of forgettable. There is nothing wrong with this book. It is well written and easy to read as always. I just didn't click with the characters. I look forward to the next book by this author.

This is a great book to read! This book gets you hooked in the beginning and keeps you hooked until the end. Omega Gage is participating in a bachelor auction to raise money for the children's hospital Gage leaves late and runs into problems and has to go shopping and ends up making candy cane pops. Alpha Conan is attending the bachelor auction to support the hospital because his brother was in the hospital as a child and it is a good cause. While waiting in the elevator to head down and out there is a problem and Gage and Conan get stuck in the elevator. Conan has a panic attack, Gage helps him through it. By the time they are rescued it is to late to go to the auction. Gage and Conan spend time together and grow closer. What will Conan do when he finds ot Gage is pregnant???? Will Gage be happy to be pregnant????.

Fun story! Conan and Gage are in town for the charity bachelor auction. They meet at the elevator. Alpha Conan likes to support the charity sponsoring the auction because his brother received help when he was in need. They noticed each other and decided their mission came before flirtation. Conan struggling to vocally get his flirt on. Gage is quite sassy with his flirty self. Gage, likes to support the charity. They were in the elevator, which decided to malfunction and Conan realizes he's claustrophobic. Gage is a strong omega and proud of it. Conan is a good strong alpha who appreciates a strong omega. Is Conan's claustrophobia a deal breaker? Do they make it to the auction? The story is a bit choppy, but Gage and Conan are great characters. Nicely done. Alpha Conan is happy to be going to the omega fundraiser. While he would like a fun night with an omega, the charity was a cause dear to his heart. He traveled out of town to get there. Upon arriving he notices an omega checking in who catches his interest. Conan and Gage take the elevator to the same floor. Conan would like to get to know Gage but he is awkward in asking people out. Later right before the auction the two are on the elevator again. The elevator ride turns into ride from he...The two are stuck together and Conan is forced to communicate. To make things worse he has to communicate that he is claustrophobic and the elevator is causing him to panic. Luckily Gage and his candy cane pops come to the rescue.

This was a short quick read in the
"Bake Sale Bachelors"
series. Alpha Conan has arrived in town for the annual Bake Sale Bachelor Auction it's for a good cause helping sick kids. Omega Gage is also in town for the auction these two meet in the lobby of the hotel and Conan was to shy to say anything. On the way to the auction they get stuck in the elevator and Conan has a panic attack but Gage is right with him helping him. The hotel gives them an upgrade and they spend the night together. This was a good read I liked both of these characters when the weekend is over they agree to see each other. When they get a surprise Gage doesn't handle it like Conan wanted him to. This book was well written with no errors in grammar or spelling.

Leave it to timing and a patient alpha to help a claustrophobic omega while being stuck between floors. Aside from his elevator mishap, Gage is an omegha who knows exactly what he wants. Conan is the exact opposite; kind and very patient. Also seemed a little shy. Too bad he didn't realize how capable he was.
Both brought out of their comfort zones by the other, made for an explosive, heated good time. Love, family and an adoring HEA.

Gage is a bold, engaging omega. Conan is an adorably awkward alpha. They have an interesting meet-cute that leads to some quality time together, followed by the getting to know you better phase. After this, the story picks up speed and leaps ahead months at a time, telling you what's going on instead of reading about it and feeling the connection growing between Gage and Conan. However, by the end they are in love and have a sweet HEA.
This is a short story that would have been much better lengthened into a novel so there could be better development between the characters.
If you're looking for a quick, fun read, I would recommend this book.

I like seeing the different from the norm couples. Gage as he puts it was "a little too much"...lol...very forthright in a non aggressive way while Conan...more shy and more reserved...definitely with the elevator incident, Gage was the dominant and took care of Conan. They had a lot of awkward moments that I didn't think they would connect well...the chemistry was there but it took a bit to overcome all the second guessing each other. Their relationship was full of compromises and learning about each other...full realization of feelings was a slow burn which I didn't find really frustrating but more so refreshing...I enjoyed their journey plus a sweet baby added to this lovely romance.

I enjoyed Candy Cane Craving. Gage and Conan meet in their hotel lobby. They engage in a little flirting before going their separate ways. They meet again on the way to the bachelor auction and get stuck in the elevator together. They have a great chemistry and their relationship gets a little complicated about a month later. Will this be a little too much for their new budding relationship? Will Conan want to be around or will this push him away? This was a very sweet story and I loved the shy characters. I would definitely recommend this book.

What a great addition to the Bake Sale Bachelors series! This one has to be unique as the MC's never make it to the auction, but fall into bed anyway. I was drawn in from the first pages. This is a charming, sexy romp with just the right amount of angst versus joy. Heat level: Extremely hot. I want the recipe for the candy cane pops. My mouth was watering. I do have a sweet tooth. This book pushed all my buttons. Sweet, sexy, cuddly, tender, and of course, an adorable baby. HEA is assured. You are just going to love this book.

Conan heads to Clearvale for a bachelor auction and encounters Gage.
Conan is asked by a sick colleague to go to a bake sale bachelor auction in Clearvale he agrees on hearing it is in aid of sick children. After signing in at his hotel he heads for the elevator where encounters Gage. Gage left home then found he had left his bake sale entry in the fridge so he had gone shopping to made a no cook dish. Their rooms are in opposite direction but they meet again going down and finding they are headed to the smaplace go together. At the venue they take the elevator but it stops trapping them.

Conan and Gage story was funny and interesting with a lot of sweetness and an adorable bundle of joy added to the mix.

It was instant attraction and missed opportunity for Conan and Gage until fate stepped in trapping them in an elevator. A comped room and night spent together has them starting to fall in love. They start a slow relationship but their morning after activity comes back to change things. They might have done things backwards but they have a happy loving family. I love the treat that brings them together and remains a staple for them.

February 17, 2023For the first time, I am encountering a strong Omega and vulnerable Alpha, wonderful! It is already a stereotype that Alphas are supposed to be strong, fearless, yada yada and Omegas are supposed to be soft and gentle. So to have an Omega aggressive and knew what he wanted right off the bat was a wonderful surprise for me. Gage had me smiling from the get-go.
Conan's not being afraid to show his vulnerability made him more lovable in my eyes. I can totally get behind this story. Good job, author!

I thoroughly enjoyed reading the story about Gage and Conan. These two met couldn’t at the elevator on the way into the motel, and when they were dressed up to go to the auction, they were trapped in the elevator alone. What followed was a post of accidents and fun times, and of course the sexy times that brought about the birth of their daughter Willow. There is a happily ever after for this cute family.

Both omega Gage and alpha Conan came into town to participate in a bachelor charity auction. Both are hoping to make a connection at the auction and are staying at the same hotel. They noticed one another when they were checking in. And they wind up stuck in the elevator with Gage's treats for the auction. They got what they wanted - to meet someone to whom they are attracted and opportunity leads to more. This was really cute.

Sweet addition to this series.
Alpha Conan meets Omega Gage in their hotel. Both going to the charity auction.
On their way down the elevator breaks down. Conan is claustrophobic and starts to have a panic attacks. Have brings helps him with his ale pops he made for the auction.
After getting out of t the lift the manager offers them the penthouse, with free meals included for the night.
Started of awkward but then had a brilliant morning.
Even though they lived an hour apart their relationship grew. With an addition.
Sweet story thoroughly enjoyed, can be read as a standalone

Candy Cane Craving is part of the multi-author Bake Sale Bachelors Season Five series. Gage and Conan met in the elevator of their hotel and as they were both headed to the auction they got stuck. This is a sweet mpreg story, but I did find both characters a bit ridiculous, though they seem perfect for each other. This has always been an enjoyable series to me and I look forward to reading more in the series.

Gage and Conan will have lots of stories to tell their kids. Meeting because of a bachelor auction neither one made an appearance at, a faulty elevator, and staying in the penthouse suite. I liked that Gage isn't a demure guy just because he's an omega, he's a bit brash but sure of himself and what he wants. Conan struck me as a sweet guy that is a bit unsure of himself. I liked that he lets Gage set the pace of their relationship. The ending is super sweet.

I enjoyed this book. It was a cute read. I've really enjoyed the bachelor bake sale books, so I always grab one when I see it. I really liked both alpha Conan and omega Gage. The being trapped in an elevator situation- while not a new idea- I almost never read about, so it was a nice mix-up. I liked how Conan was the one who was claustrophobic, despite being the alpha, and it was Gage who talked him through it. Great chemistry between these two. A fun, quick read. 4 stars.

This book really was sweeter than the candy canes involved.
Conan (a) and Gage (o) get stuck in an elevator together on their way to the same bachelor baker auction. Now that's Fate in a big way.
The characters were relatable (and lovable), the story was fun, and the steam was heavy. Throw in some character angst and a baby, and you've got a great story with a well-deserved HEA.

I loved both Conan and Gage. They were great characters, and I enjoyed the reversal of “typical” alpha and omega behaviors. I would have liked to see more development of their relationship, rather than so much focus on the baby.
