Cannot understate the utility of this book for modern organic chemistry. This should be mandatory summer reading for anyone going to graduate school for organic chemistry. Masterpiece that goes from a bare minimum understanding of organic chemistry to the near-frontier and doesn’t leave you behind unless you let it.
