Adventures in Medialand argues that complacency in the media can often be a suitable replacement for propaganda. Cohen addresses the biases on the news that result from government officials and corporate money being tied too closely to the media. Modern day problems such as starvation in Africa, the AIDS epidemic and issues casting Washington in a bad light are often ignored. Cohen offers original incite on the present-day problems on the media.
