One of those random books I wasn't expecting to find in the language section of my local bookstore. I'm no expert but this was a good start on the subject.

I will appreciate if someone would recommend other titles concerning Irish folklore and history.

Not a very lively read. But it does the job by providing a concise overview of Irish history.
