Can't wait to start this book. I only just bought it yesterday and it was very expensive. I'm using Adobe Audition but the version is out of date so there were no books on that version in store, so instead I bought this. It looks really good. The book I was tossing it up with was Modern Recording Techniques by Huber, which looked really good and was almost as expensive, but that looked a little advanced for me (I couldn't afford both). I didn't want to destroy my interest in the subject by finding it too hard to get through without a slog. It was 642 pages long. I can always buy it once I have read this.

We barely used this in the class I needed it for, but it's still a good overview of the basics, even getting a little too technical sometimes.
