I have mixed feelings about this book. Parts of it were really good. I highlighted plenty of things about Jesus' life and relationships with others that were really inspirational and insightful. But, there were also things I feel like were on shaky ground. For example, Sterrett argues for intelligent design. Even though I am a Christian, I have no problem with evolution. One of the books I've read on the subject is Francis S. Collins' "The Language of God," which Sterrett quotes and refers to. However, Collins does NOT make a case for intelligent design -- the entire book is a Christian view of evolution! He has even developed the Biologos Foundation, which bridges science and faith. That misrepresentation really bothered me.

I don't recommend this book to non-Christians that are seeking Jesus. I don't feel that the arguments are solid enough. But it's not a bad read for people who are already Christian.

Great book to help remove the guilt of occasional doubt and fear

The only reason I stuck with this was that it is so short and surely wouldn't take very long to get through. Three months later and I finally finished this 150 page book! It was free and the saying "you get what you pay for" applies here. The author makes poorly constructed arguments and often left me either wanting more clarification, or just baffled as to his reasoning. The best parts were when he quoted other people.

A book with great promise but I'm not sure of the audience he is trying to reach. Is it the believer with questions, the non-believer in search of answers, etc. The author makes some awesome points but I wish he directed his narrative better. His appolgetic is all over the place and unfortunately results in the the book loosing focus.

This book makes many interesting points about why we should trust Jesus. It is backed by the author's own story and those of others he knows as well as references to Scripture. It also has stories of atheists who came to believe and gives the reasons why. [Many of the stories reflect the aspect of how reason plays into individual's decisions about believing in Jesus.]

This book answered a question for me that I've had for years. And when you think about it, it really is an obvious answer. Why did Jesus die for us? Why would He go through everything He did for me? Because God loves us that much!

Very quick read cause I couldn't put it down

this was a book on apologetics but was very informal with a decent storyline and stories from the authors life but yet got the truth of Jesus across and explained why he could only be the way

Good honest book

Dave wrote this book from his heart. It's nice to hear that people can have the same questions as I do. Good book definitely a must read
