Required reading for class, I thought it would be rather boring, I was mistaken.
This covers the basics of what good communication is and goes from there. Whether it is public speaking, written, or even in relationships this book helps build those skills needed to be an effective communicator, to include listening, mindfulness, and being aware of those non verbal cues.
No matter your position or occupation, everyone can benefit from being a more effective communicator.

A pretty average communications textbook. Definitely not the best in digital form.

Pretty good for a college textbook. It really gives a good perspective on the basics of human communication- verbal/nonverbal, interpersonal and intrapersonal, and even communication within organizations.

Again, I read this book since it's obligatory for one of my college's courses since I'm majoring communication right now. I have to say, it's pretty good. I like how Wood gives examples from cases experienced by various kinds of people.
