Here comes the crocodile. And he's sniffing and he's snarling, and he's grumbling and he's growling, and his great big tummy's rumbling. Oh no! He's hungry. Run!
I read this with my son to get him to think about the different voices he could use for animals and what they would sound like, this did encourage him to develop his understanding of speech marks and make him think about the sounds that animals would make. It was great fun to see the creativity flowing, although after a few reads it gets repetitive but it's definitely great to develop children's understanding and also great to get them to act out to how they think animals may respond.
I am so... so... tired... of reading this book! Hahah. But the kids like it, the artwork is pretty cool, and the story is funny and creative. 3/5 stars.
What does a hungry crocodole do when he comes upon tasty prey? Laugh with each response from the future delicacies. Then see how it ends. Look who is coming for tea!!! This is a hit with the kids when read aloud. The potential for a variety of voices adds to captivating the audience.
