Why Nothing Can Travel Faster Than Light...and Other Explorations in Nature's Curiosity Shop

Rate this book
The Zimmermans range broadly across the enormous spectrum that is nature: from how the universe began to its probable fate, from microscopic viruses to dinosaurs, from the effects of radiation to the depletion of the ozone layer. This collection of essays is instructive, entertaining, and just plain fun.

A well written, easy to understand science book. Each chapter of this book covers a different topic and most of them kept my interest.

The problem here and with any science book is that time renders them irrelevant. Meaning the advances in science over the last 20 years leave the information in this book somewhat outdated and lacking.

Still a good book for a junior high kid with an inquisitive mind.
