A gateless gateway to Zen - excellent! Nice way to experience concepts in Zen. Actually ended up giving this to a friend who now plays a game with it - you draw a card and have to elaborate on what you think is the core meaning of the koan - lots of fun to play with a group of friends!

I never did practice all of these koans but the idea of using these is so simple and intriguing. Although I am not a Buddhist, I think its practical concepts can be a part of a meaningful spiritual (secular) life without resorting to religious dogma and rituals. One day I will give them another again try.
