Betraying Mikki is a totally engrossing, can't-put-it down story that draws you in and won't let you go. A bit of romance and love also creeps into the riveting storyline, giving it a wholesome feel. Ms. Atkins ties up all the loose ends quite neatly and ends the novel on solid footing. She leaves the reader anticipating more in the Texas series. All in all, an excellent read!

Very nice mystery. Small town people gathering at the local bar discussing Anna and then she is found dead the next morning. Kept my interest all the way, and just confused me a bit as to who done it. Won't spoil it for you.
Excellent mystery. Usually, with some mysteries and whodunits, I have a hard time keeping up with all the characters and who is kin to who but not so with this installment. Was able to easily follow the characters throughout their different roles without total confusion. So refreshing to read a mystery like that for a change. Good work, Ms. Pittman. Will be on the lookout for future works by this prolific writer!
