Outdated? Of course, it's 2010 and this is actually more than 12 years out of date, having been published, I think, as an armchair companion to watching the '98 Olympics as the results from those games are nowhere in this volume.

It does, however, offer a brief synopsis of each sports' history, the medal winners and the stories of the event. Well written, it's a great reference book until I find the author's 2010 version.

Loved the older stories about the Olympians of the past. Would love a version completed after the 2010 Olympics rather than prior to the 1998 ones.

I got the 2014 version of this book for my Nook (that was the only way it was available). This is an outstanding read if you're an Olympic junkie. There is also a version for the Summer Olympics.
