Oneday, a talented artist, especially he is trumpeter, knew that his wife was diappeared when he was back from travel. He found one evidiece of her missing form her e-mail, and her missing is related to her ex-boyfriend. He went to brazil in order to trace her trail with help of his friends and sister of his wife, and he finally know about his wife's death. He was able to know that her death involved with a supicious accident exposuring toxic gas and this accident related to her ex-boyfriend. Finally, he succeeded to punish him unexpectedly and this novel closed with happy ending.
This is detective novel. Actually, I picked this book because of misunderstanding as romance novel. Also, the cover of this book fasinated me because I like the statue of Jesus in Rio de Janeiro in Brazil, but this is totally different from my imagine because the description of the city as a backgroud of novel is hard to find. However, as likely as another detective novel, the story is very intensively interesting even though the final is wrong direction.

I first thought it was a romance story but I found it a detective story too. It is one of the stories I cannot stop reading until the end.

It is very sad when you find out that you are someone's second best. Derek, Rachel, and Malgosia herself. I was glad it turned out that the "second bests" became just "the Bests!"

This book is really exciting. From the beginning, i could not take my eyes off. Two different sources, music and a detective story, which seem never matched, are harmonized well in this book. One day, a wife disappeared, a husband set out on the road to find her,and finally he faced the truth about his wife. In addition, he opened his eyes to his life and real love.
I would like to discribe my reveiw with music. During the whole time, the up-beat tempo of the big drum reverberated in my mind. At the point of the climax, the sharp cymbals rang in my head.
i really enjoyed this book. The writer knows how to catch a reader's attention at once quicky in the beginning. i hope i write my journal like him.

I read this book with an excitement. It make me curious about how the story will be going to go in the end. Even though I couldn't understand the main character's feeling or ending of this book, this book fasinated me. There was no dragging or slow tempo. The accidents happened in the first of the story and the hero traces it one by one. The story didn't have any unnecessary part. I liked it!
