Speed and Lily
This is another installment in Inferno’s Clutch MC and it ranks right up there with the rest of the books in this series. Another five-star read with this author throwing everything at me as in terms of a bad boy biker doing everything for the woman he loves. Both Speed and Lily have had horrific pasts which helps them understand the other.
As soon as Lily is brought to the club Speed knows that Lily is his future no matter what this woman has been through. I love how Speed doesn’t see Lily as damaged goods especially after everything she has been through and what he will go through to protect her. This book sure had its twists and turns leaving my jaw dropping at times. I recommend not only this book, the rest of the books in this series but all of this author’s books as well. She always leaves me wanting for more.

Speed's Ride by E.C. Land is full of heartbreak, betrayal, angst, abuse, torture, violence, mayhem and love in this fifteenth installment of the dark, erotic Inferno's Clutch MC series. The storyline is intense and the characters are complex and dynamic as supporting members of the Devil's Riot MC are a brought together in this story.
The story begins after a botched up kidnapping of Victoria's son. Lily aka Valentine protected Jamie leaving her severely injured. While healing at the club much is learned about Lily as well as the threats against the club especially against Noelle by Hector. Stoney, President of the Devil's Riot MC decides to send her to the Inferno's Clutch MC in Louisiana for her protection until they can handle Perrin from enacting his revenge on the women and members of the club. Lily was sold to Perrin, part of the Supreme Masters when she was five years old, as she got older she was sexually violated, abused and kept as his pet. Now her life is in danger as she knows that Perrin will kill her if he finds her for failing to kidnap Jamie.
When she encounters Speed who is told he will be her babysitter at a safehouse, as first he is rude as he doesn't trust her but when he learns the truth from the members of the Devil's Riot MC who are very protective of her he learns of all the horrors she endured. With his emotions all over the place, Speed becomes instantly drawn to her as he vows to protect her and will soon claim her as his. The relationship between them is seductive and intense with plenty of steamy moments as they soon discover they have much in common when Speed tells Lily of his abusive past. Now the bond between them grows as love will be a factor for both of them. Can these two broken souls help each other heal? Soon danger and chaos surrounds them and the club when Perrin discovers she is with the Inferno's Clutch MC. Will Speed and the others be able to save Lily and end the Supreme Masters? E.C. Land’s newest release takes us back to the Infernos Clutch MC in Louisiana. We’re getting to the end of this clubs story but there still seems to be plenty of story to tell. I had thought that this may have been the last but E.C. Isn’t done yet she’s got more twists to throw our way.
Like all of E.C. series these stories cross mix and there is gaps between the release of each book and putting the pieces back together so keep that in mind. You really do need to have been reading all the series and in the order E.C. intended.
We start of with Lily who we met who was at the Devil’s Riot club (originals). She was sent in as a mole by force but wouldn’t do what she was sent there for and when she protected one of the kids the club were able to overlook the reason she was at the club and set out to help her.
There plan to get her away from them in the hopes the person who sent her there won’t find her right away.
As a member of the Infernos Clutch, Speed is well aware of all the drama and trouble the club has faced and all the awful things the Supreme Masters have put the woman and members through. Upon learning all of the things the Lily has gone through Speed and the club only become more determined to keep her safe and end the Supreme Masters.
No matter how close they get to ending them they always seem to be a step behind and never quite get there in time.
Getting the bad guy or not Speed will have and keep Lily forever.

Speed's Ride is the 15th book in the Inferno's Clutch MC series by E.C. Land. This book gives us more information about the enemy the club has been fighting throughout the series and is a crossover with the Devil's Riot MC: Originals series. Before reading this book I suggest reading Cyprus's Truth so have the whole story.
Lily is the enemy's pet who was sold to him when she was 5 years old. Her first taste of freedom was when she was sent into the Devil's Riot MC as a clubgirl to take Victoria and Tracker's son Jamie. Things don't go as planned and she is sent to the Inferno's Clutch MC for protection. Chains assigns Speed and Lynch as her guards and Speed forms a connection with her. At first, Speed was mad to be put on babysitting duty for a mole but once he knew the whole story and met her all he wanted to do was protect her, and that he would need to do. Lily is exactly what the club needs to face their greatest enemy so far.
I gave this a 4-star rating and a 4-spicy rating. Lily was one hell of a strong woman and a warrior. After everything she's been through her entire life, she did not break. She held on to who she was and her own sense of right and wrong. Having Speed by her side gave her the self-confidence and acceptance she always needed. The lead-up to Lynch's Truth is shocking. His book is next and I definitely didn't see this coming.

Speed's Ride is the 15th book Inferno's Clutch by E.C. Land. Speed was raised in a horrible, abusive home. Finding Inferno's Clutch gave him a brotherhood family. Lily protected Jamie, Victoria and Tracker's (of Devil's Riot) son. She earned the trust of the club and was sent to Inferno's Clutch to be hidden and protected. Speed is designated as one of her babysitter but when he sees her, he realizes she is meant to be his.
This story has twists and turns that will keep you trying to guess. Lily holds the key to solving the clubs issues. Speed steps up to get Lily living again. He is the ultimate protector. The book has quite a few triggers that might be too much for some. Read the warnings. This couple both come from horrendous backgrounds.
While I love the story and series, I have one complaint. I feel like the story wrapped up quickly and conveniently. Maybe as the Clutch go after the Supreme Masters, the news revealed will not feel quite as much of an easy wrap. I do love the world E.C. Land created and it is quite as expansive as other series like Devils' Riot and the DeLancy Brothers. It is a quick satisfying read.

Another hit out of the park for Ms. Land. The characters are so relatable and slightly standoffish.
lily and Speed have a very similar past and have both worked to be better. When Lily is being used as a plant to cause trouble for the MC, she doesn’t do what she has been demanded to do, and instead came clean and told the truth and warned them.
They sent her to the Inferno’s Clutch MC, where they are treating like an outsider until they get to the truth.
Speed is leary of Lily but does what he’s asked by his Pres. and starts to see that Lily isn’t bad at all just has been trained to be a “Pet” and to be used to do her “masters bidding”.
They start a friendship that grows into a loving relationship and she is slowly integrated into the club. Then it comes out she is blood related to half the club and to the Delaney’s thats when stuff gets interesting.
Speed and Lily have a love that continues to grow and grow. It goes to show that even in the worse circumstances there is almost always a golden horizon.

OMG!!!! Speed’s Ride by E.C. Land was an unbelievably incredible read!! It is the story of Speed and Lily. Lily is entrusted to the Louisiana Charter of the Inferno’s Clutch MC to protect her. But, she’s been branded a traitor. Why would they want to keep her safe? Speed is a member of the MC and has agreed to be her protector until the threat has been eliminated.
Man oh man!!! Could there possibly be anyone in the world who WOULDN’T want Speed??? He is every woman’s dream! Caring, protective, but can still provide her freedom. But, there are those who don’t want them together…in fact, want the entire MC annihilated. Can they provide her the sanctuary she needs? Can they forgive her for the past? Can they prevent the destruction that is intent on being visited upon them? Book 15 of this series is my favorite!!!!! Love Speed and Lily!!!

This was such a fabulous story for the ICMC. This story is interconnected with the DRMC Originals. You don’t need to read Cyprus’s Truth to understand this story. If you want, you can read it as you get more in depth of what happened. This is Speed and Lily’s story and Perrin is coming. He wants his pet back but the men of the ICMC are not going to let that happen. This story will take you on one emotional ride. What Lily had to endure just hurt my heart. The men don’t know what to do to bring an end to Perrin, but they have been told Lily is the key. In truce EC fashion there are some twists I was not expecting. Speed and Lily are so great together and I love the friendship that you end up seeing between Lily and Lynch. I really loved these two and how their trust in each other grew considering how they grew up. I can’t wait for Lynch’s story and see what happens with everything.

This book had so many twists I'm surprised poor Lily is still standing.
Being sold as a child by her mother she is used as a toy to seek revenge on the Devils Riot but no saine woman is going to hurt a child and she again pays the price.
When she is shipped off for her own safety to the Infernos Clutch MC she never expected to find Speed who is not only smoking hot but also just as damaged as she is. These two were a great couple who didn't put the other down for their trauma cos honestly most women wouldn't have believed Speeds story so they made the best team and no one would have guessed the connection Lily actually would have to the members of this club.
Things are just heating up and I can't wait to see what happens next.

Speed’s Ride will really take you on a huge rollercoaster ride. Both Speed and Lily had horrific childhoods and just when they are given a chance at happiness Lily’s past makes an appearance. Together, these two, can make a wonderful life and although some very surprising secrets are revealed Lily and Speed overcome it all to forge ahead. I love this series and even though this is book fifteen, EC Land has never wavered from the awesomeness that is the Inferno’s Clutch MC and their women. Cannot wait for the next book.

This was a dark and steamy MC romance. It was definitely one of those books where you need to read the trigger warning and only proceed if you aren’t faint of heart. Now I have come to love the dark side of romance so I loved it but it was a story that some people might have real issues with.
Speed and Lily both had really traumatic experiences growing up and that just made it so much better that they could find each other. I love the connection between them. Now I just can’t wait to read the next book in the series.

LOVED it!!!!
The ever expanding universe that EC Land has created just got another phenomenal couple added to it! Speed and Lilly have very difficult pasts to overcome. And they do overcome those obstacles to reach their HEA.
TONS of intrigue, suspense and mystery - we get answers to severs questions only for more to pop up.
We also get a peek into the next couple, which will also be the last of this particular series. However, as we know with all of EC Land books - this entire universe is interconnected so I’m confident we’ll still visit with our dear friends in other series again. LOVED this one!!!

When Lily steps up and protects Jaime, a child in the DRMC, she is sent to ICMC to hide. Not trusting her, Speed is sent to watch her until the MC can figure out what they are going to do with her. When Lily's past is revealed and her memories are triggered, answers to who is behind the Supreme Masters, the MC's enemy are revealed. This is a heart wrenching romance between two broken souls who find healing in each other.

Intense and dark....but a good read

Speed". Be warned as this story starts with some dark stuff and it continues with that and more. So if you have triggers this may not be the book for you. I did find myself at times turning away from the story, as it was a bit tough to take a times. But I always came back and I really wanted Lily and Speed to have their HEA, in whatever form that took. The writing is riveting, the characters are multi-faceted, the story-line has just about everything mixed together in an interesting way, and the ending was what I had hoped for.

Speed & Lily are both broken but together they heal each other. Speed is so different, gentle & sweet with Lily and he gives her the freedom to be herself. Lily calms the storm within Speed. There are lots of secrets revealed in this book that will help the club to finally rid themselves of some enemies that have plagued them for years. If you haven't read the rest of this series, you need to as it is all building to an epic climax.

I Cannot Believe What I READ
I’ve read these books at random, so I’m not sure if they’re all like this one. The others I did read weren’t as bad as this one. This book talks about what was done to Lily as a child. In detail. As if it is completely normal to write about child molestation and humiliation into a romance novel. I couldn’t read the whole book because of this, so I can only speak on what I’ve read. I just think it should have a bold warning to it and can’t understand why anyone would want to write that at all. Definitely done with these books.

Speed wasn't interested in finding a woman of his own. He is happy for all of his brothers but feels that no woman can handle what he needs from her. Things change when he meets Lily.
Lily has been used and abused since she was 5 years old. When she is sent to the DRMC to kidnap a child for her "master", she protects the child instead. She quickly grows close to Speed as they try to deal with Perrin coming for Chain's family. Speed is good for Lily and as his own childhood was not good, he can empathize with what happened to her.

This book took me on a rollercoaster ride of emotions. It is not a story for the faint hearted. Some aspects of the story are hard to read. That being said, this story had my heart in my throat then at my feet. This is Speed aka Tyrese, and Lily’s story. It is packed with danger, betrayals, lies, secrets, fear, pain, desire and more. It kept me on the edge of my seat. I had to know what was going to happen next and would these two survive as individuals and as a couple? Could they have a HEA? A definite must read for me! Loved it!!!

Such an excellent read. I absolutely loved Speed and Lily’s story ❤️❤️❤️ escaping a life she’d endured for years Lily is sent to the Inferno’s Clutch MC for protection and straight into Speeds arms. He falls for her and with the help of his brothers wages war on her demons. A thoroughly entertaining read. 100% recommend this book to everyone ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ you will not be disappointed 😎.

Load of secrets and revelations revealed that was jaw dropping. Speed and Lily have a lot of demons to work through but when they have each other everything is complete even though there is trouble surrounding them constantly. I enjoyed getting lost in this story with the action and falling in love with all the characters in this story as they all fitted smoothly into each chapter.

A return for an enemy that just won’t die and another visitor to the clubhouse (seriously this seems to be the MC everyone else sends women to be protected)
Lily and Speed had massive trust isssues and chequered pasts which only the other could resolve.
Speed had a deep protective streak which only came out for Lily and was enjoyable to read. Lily was quietly strong

You know you just read a great book when you finish it and start reading it immediately again that's how it was for me reading Speed and Lily's story it's fantastic. E.C writes stories that reach out and grasp your heart and gives it a little squeeze from drama and those moments you know somethings about to happen your either going to like or leaves you flabbergasted.

This has all kinds of crazy twist that kept me reading. Lily was sold when she was five Perrin a very cruel man so when he sends her to kill for him she ends up saving the boys life. That is how she ended up with Speed at the Infernos Clutch MC. Speed vows to protect her and care for her so she never has to go through what she did in her past. Great book and can not wait for the next one.

This is an intriguing story with likable characters that kept me glued to the drama right from the first bad date. Logan and Olivia find themselves in each other's presence again when he goes to look at a property and it starts their path. Will this time have them navigating in the direction to a happily ever after.

December 2, 2023This was a story that was hard to put down. Lily is in danger and was sent to the MC for protection. Speed might have been assigned to babysit her, but the connection and need to protect has him claiming her.

Damn!! Cowards will always b cowards!! I can't believe how that turned out. Lily has unexpected information from growing up the way she did but also sum surprises she finds about 2. Read and find out what happens when things hit the fan cause of stupid fuckers bent on revenge from the past. I loved it but I feel sad 4 what she went through and I think she needs 2 have sum revenge 4 herself 2 give 4 how her life went in her past.

Speed and Lily are absolutely perfect together. Both having their own demons, they know how to help each other through the tough times. So when Lily is sent to Inferno's
Clutch for protection it really is only fitting that her and Speed would find their way to each other. This couple is another great addition to the Inferno family.

Lily is under the protection of the internals clutch mc and in particular Speed, though he tries to distance himself they cant deny the draw even with trouble surrounding the club. well written engaging action desires steamy scenes and more a great addition to the series.

Wow I could not put thos book down. The chemistry between Speed and Lily was priceless. With the arrival of Lily to the club many questions have been answered and leads to more questions. A must read for anyone following this series.

I was sucked into the story from page one.
The book was well written and had a nice flow.
Speed and his lady have romantic chemistry between them.
Lots of MC action and suspense are abound.
I would recommend reading this series in order.
