I LOVED this book as a teenager. It has a “born again Christian” feel to it And Is a bit misinformed when it comes to comparative religion (I remember it talking about yoga as being sacrilegious...even as a teenager I knew that was bogus) but it’s a good read for the modern Christian teenager. My only wish is there was something similar for the Muslim teenager!

Another great Alice Gray collection of stories. Once again, very easy to read and very uplifting. Any teen who thrives on a relationship with God will love this book; I got a lot out of it when I was that age.

This was another gift I received for my confirmation and it was also a really good read. I remember reading it and feeling incredibly impassioned about being the youth leader at my church.

A group of inspirational stories--most are about teens who are following God, but some seem to be about people older than teens who have a message to deliver to the younger generation.

Several of these were not theologically correct.

Also, very dramatic.
1. Girl makes a chart for her brother to forgive her 70x7 times (490) and when she finishes that chart, she thinks she can’t be forgiven anymore, so she runs away from home, cuts all contact with her family, and becomes a waitress in poverty.
Then her brother dies and she finds out he would have forgiven her 491 times, but now he’s dead and can’t forgive her anymore.
Like, what??
2. Yoga is a sin, apparently??
3. And it quotes “I Kissed Dating Goodbye” and we ALL know how much THAT book screwed people up.

No wonder it hasn’t been checked out of our church library for 20 years. Cull!

This is a beautiful book. Full of great teachable heart warming moments. I used to read to them to my campers at summer camp. They would always beg for one more, one more. Great book to inspire and assure people of God’s love for them and the power of everyday acts of kindness and heroism.

I haven't finished this book yet, but it is so good. Just got to the 'Showing Your Faith' section. I like Friend to The Ends, Always Forgiven & The Final I Failed best so far, I think. My least favorite was the The Lovesick Father.
