I read this to my grandson when we had a sleepover. He loves silly monkeys. Cute little board book.

This is a board book with a foam cover. It's an eclectic story about a boy who gets a monkey from a pirate, the monkey is very silly... the end. A very simplistic story, but the foam cover has a 3D effect that is fun for babies to touch and the illustrations are bright and colorful.

I write better children stories than this one. But I say that about 98%of children's books. Overall it was cute and a good read.. Only 6 pages, 6 sentences long which is ideal for a toddler book, but one page, one sentence really didn't go with the rest of the pages and showed a lack of creativity

I thought this was pretty dull. The pictures were lame and the rhymes were sloppy. My son seems to really like it so I'll pop it up to 3 stars.
