Growing up around my grandfather Charles A. Palmer (who wrote the story for "Lady and the Tramp") I got to hear a lot of stories about early Hollywood. He was friends with Jesse Lasksy, together they made a movie called "Holiday For Bands". Having adequately plugged my grandfather, he recommended this book as an accurate portrayal of those times. I enjoyed it immensely and recommend it as authentic and fun.
