Kip the kitten has nowhere to sleep on a cold winter's night. So he creeps into a house and curls up in a snug, cosy bed. But this bed belongs to someone else. This is a fun-filled story, aimed at 3-6 year olds, perfect for reading aloud.
We run a cat rescue. Our setup is such that people can come in and hang out with the cats for as long as they’d like. So we’ve been compiling a bookshelf full of cat themed books for people to browse through or read while they’re here. Various thrifting excursions have led to a large collection of books and I’ve just recently started reading through them all. Quite honestly, some of the children’s books are pretty stupid (and that does take into account the fact that they’re children’s books). But this one was cute. Cute illustrations and a cute quick story. It’ll make a nice addition to our children’s cat book collection.
I don't recall where I picked up this book, or if I won it in a contest. Life got in the way and I am slowly working my way through the pile of books and writing reviews.
This is a cute book that littles will enjoy. The colors are bright and the pictures are fun, so every cat lover will love this fun book about Kip who was cold and snuck through a door and found a warm bed to sleep in. Then woken by 6 cats who claimed the bed as belonging to them. Then along came Harry the dog, who claimed the bed as his. Finally, all 7 cats and Harry ended up fitting purr-fectly in the bed.
Another fun little book, which was part of a collection that I found as an ex-library book and have subsequently given to friends and their little girl, but read it first to make sure it was all ok and the book was not manky or damaged. This one is a cute story and little readers (or listeners) should well enjoy it.
