With a skip, hop, and a jump, four adorable bunnies go playing in the kitchen, in the garden, in the toy box, in the closet -- all over the house -- and learn the words for child-familiar objects along the way. Warm, meticulous illustrations help children recognize colors, shapes, bedtime words, bathtime words, animals, clothes, foods, and more. Over 150 words are depicted in 16 thematic sections. Simple word and concept games help children further broaden their vocabularies and develop early reading skills.
This clearly illustrated word book in the series about the rabbits is charming, if not as evocative as the shapes, colors, odd one out, etc. as there's no actual storyline. My five year old and I went through the text with him telling me what the words say (I think he's mostly guessing, but it's a good way to model sight words.) He enjoyed it.
