Loads of good recipes with non-fussy and doable ingredients, although I had to laugh when one of the recipes called for lime pickles and suggested that I would have a jar lying around in the back of my fridge. Yeah right because what the heck are lime pickles? That particular ingredient aside, the introduction also includes helpful suggestions for stretching your budget when buying groceries and creative ways for using leftovers. The photos were terrific and simply made this book even more appealing.
