All of my books have an element of mystery and magic, even the realistic stories. And as a friend pointed out, there is a library in every one of them. It must be because libraries have always been magical places for me.

I published this book, so I'm partial, but I'm so enjoying my "re-read" of it by way of catholicradiointernational.com's free "Cover to Cover" audio broadcast of Maureen McQuerry's book. Sylvia Dorham, the reader, does a beautiful job, and I highly recommend it.
I wanted to like this book. It stars great pagan archetypes, it was written by a poet, so the language is fabulous. Unfortunately the characters are lacking and the story has pacing issues.
