Determined to get revenge on the genera who reflected his every attack, Touya prepares for battle. But before he can strike, he’ll have to arrange a meeting with two of the most powerful men in the world―the emperor of the Regulus Empire and the king of Belfast! There, he tells the two rulers of his plan to retake the imperial capital, but unbeknownst to him, Lucia, the Empire’s third princess, has a very important request…
The ninth volume of this series begins with Touya defeating a coup in the Regulus Empire. As I mentioned in a previous volume, I enjoy simple slice-of-life stories. However, the story is not flawless. So far, only the coup's leader had an ability that Touya couldn't immediately conquer. Touya is too strong.
On another note, Touya met the Regulus Empire's Third Princess. She falls for Touya, and now we have another fiance. However, while this development doesn't create friction with his four other fiances, Regulus' Emperor and the Belfastian King point out that marrying both princesses would affect the political situation.
Touya gets a kingdom for his troubles and names it Brunhild after the Warrior Maiden from Norse Mythology. You may have noticed my rereading of all of this series. I recently bought new volumes but forgot where I was in the story. Therefore, I decided to reread the entire thing.
I enjoyed the book. Thanks for reading my review, and see you next time.
Touya has gotten himself involved in an uprising in the next door empire (because he teleported into the middle of it while on a shopping trip) and... it's Touya, God's bestest most favorite boy, you think he's going to have trouble with this???
So Touya gets a small power up, a new fiancée (five wives, two robo waifus, and a little sister maid), and his own kingdom. Not bad for a random nobody with godlike powers. Now he just has to clean it up, build a castle, maybe find the rest of Babylon and also fix the Phrase problem...
