Lynn Madison transformed from repressed corporate drone to bold seductress overnight when her online friends at Tempt the Cougar encouraged her to take charge of her destiny. Their advice haunts her as she drools over the hottest Italian stallion on the planet while stranded in an airport.

Sebastian Fiori is a master of speed. A rally car driver, he’s used to winning on and off the track. He sees no need to put on the brakes when a sexy sophisticate revs his engine. After spotting Lynn’s decadent ménage novel, he decides to take her for the ride of a lifetime—with his navigator Mark.

Storm delays would be far more upsetting if Lynn’s young stud wasn’t offering a first-class ticket to indulge her fantasy. Neither of them expects their rendezvous to last beyond their transatlantic flight on his private jet. But sometimes there’s no escaping the forces of nature.

I'm having a hard time rating this one. If we are going for erotica...this sucker delivers. A sexy young Italian race car driver who takes our heroine on the ride of her life (literally) on a private jet. The sex is hot. No arguments. The author can write a sex scene like she was born to do it. (And turgid wasn't used once! Other authors take note of this fact.)

This was a shorter tale, and went into insta-love. I am a little prejudiced against insta-love in a contemporary novel. Put it in a shifter tale and I am right there with you. Add the same love at first sight in a contemporary and I can't get it to ring true for me.

Our heroine, Lynn, wasn't my favorite person. She was very controlling and confident in the sexual situations, but seemed to waffle so much with her decisions in day to day life. Now that I put it in words like that, maybe she reminds me a little too much of me. *snort*

What I liked...the author's voice, the online group of cougars, and the whole damn scene on the plane. YUM!

What didn't work for me...how fast the characters were re-arranging their lives for each other, our strong heroine hating being "pushed around" but then going with it anyways. If you're going to enjoy a fling just enjoy it. There was a lot of back and forth that drove me bonkers.

But in the end, even though the female lead wasn't a favorite character of mine, I enjoyed the hero, the online interaction, and the author's voice. 3.5 stars. A great shorter read.

Sometimes a book lingers around, and you don't pick it up, and then you do, and you have to read it, and it is wonderful - that's what happened to me with this book

I picked up the second in the series before the first, and figured I'd seen some of this couple in that book, so why bother, right? Wrong!! This story was fast-paced, sexy as all out, and shows the deep connection between the two main characters, and also how Mark, the focus of our second story, fits into the whole situation

It is short, but it is packed with story, and you won't be disappointed, I really liked this story

What an intensely sexy, short story! These two have quite the chemistry from the start, but I loved that Bastian allowed Lynn the freedom to explore herself as well. Needless to say, I immediately purchased the next book, so I am not going to continue raving on here when I could be reading it! lol

Weak 3 stars. Hot sex scenes with an older woman and a younger man. Weak story with a stupid conflict.

STORY BRIEF:
Lynn recently quit her job which required a lot of travel. She plans to write a travel guide for women traveling alone. She has just begun a lengthy trip for research. Due to weather, she is stranded in Pennsylvania and needs to get to New York to catch a flight to Europe. She meets Sebastian at the airport. He is a rally race car driver from Italy. He too needs to get to New York. Lynn is 40. Sebastian is 28. Lynn’s friends do a lot of email chatting about being with younger men (being Cougars). Her friends encourage her to go for it with Sebastian. He accidentally sees her chats and is pleased to pursue this. He arranges for a private limo to take them to New York. She agrees to ride with him.

REVIEWER’S OPINION:
Really weak story. I was annoyed with their fight/separation. He left her for an hour or so to do something really nice for her. She assumed the wrong things, was mad, wouldn’t talk to him, and left. He tried to contact her many times, but she wouldn’t even open the emails he sent. It was stupid conflict. The author was focused on having hot sex scenes and just threw this in as a formulaic plot device. I’d rather have no fight at all than something like this. The sex scenes were good, but the things that make a good story were missing (plot, characters, relationship development, and dialogue). The sex scenes include two men with one woman, rear door activity, and self-pleasuring.

Lynn’s character was unpleasant and unreasonable. She wanted to be “in control of her life.” So when Sebastian did something nice for her, she was angry that he didn’t consult with her. This happened twice. Not entertaining. I still gave it 3 stars, which means OK (for me) but that was due to Sebastian being a neat character, and the sex was pretty good.

DATA:
Reading time: 1 ½ hours. Kindle count story length: 1725 (187 KB). Swearing language: moderate. Sexual language: strong. Number of sex scenes: 4 long ones. Setting: current day mostly Pennsylvania, New York, Italy, plus traveling in a limo and airplane. Copyright: 2010. Genre: erotic contemporary romance, race car driver romance, older woman younger man.

Cougar Lynn makes eyes at Sebastian, and when he glimpses the erotic menage novel she's been reading, he decides to make all her dreams come true. He's hot, he's Italian, and he's rich — what more could she ask for?

Warning: This says it's 156 pages on Kindle, but it ends at 56% so it's wayyyyy short.

Overall, this book is sexy, not a lot of plot but it was still an enjoyable read.

I get annoyed when a book ends at 55%, as this one did. Even when there are generous previews for the rest of the pages. Or - as I’ve seen done in a Carina press book - tell me in the intro that the main story ends at x%. Warn me at least.
About the book itself - too perfect - the hero is handsome and gorgeous and instantly falls in love w the heroine. She is older, although they don't let that get in the way much. Mostly the book is a bunch of sex scenes in various locations, some with a third person. And the word Cougar is used liberally. I enjoyed this for what it was. Nothing deep, some hot sex scenes.

Jayne Rylon has done it again. Lynn and Sebastian meet and chemistry sparks immediately fly between these two. Lynn belongs to a group of cougars who happen to share their love of books and their ultimate fantasies. This time it's Lynn who is up for the "Cougar Challenge". If you are looking for a hot read, look no further than this book. Jayne will never disappoint if you are looking for a steamy read.

Wow. This was my first book by this author, and it won't be my last. Talk about steamy.
It is a short and steamy read about a forty-year-old woman who has decided she needs to change things in her life. One of the first things she does is quit her job to write a travel guide for women traveling alone. On the first leg of her journey, she meets the younger Sebastian. Sparks fly from first glance, but will she go for it? You will just have to read it to find out. You won't regret it.

I enjoyed the premise of this book. However, as well drawn as some of the scenes were, the sex scenes seemed a bit pedestrian or flat. In comparison to other books by Ms Rylon, Driven seemed as if she had "phoned in" the sex scenes. I just think the sex scenes could have been a bit more imaginatively written. (redundant...much? sorry about that!)

This was a short and sexy read that gave new meaning to the "The Mile High Club". Yum! I thought the whole undying devotion thing happened a little fast for my taste, but you can not deny how hot the story was! I also see that there is a continuation of the story, so I can not wait to see what happens next in this story.

A rally race car driver. I think this is my second Cougar Challenge? I'm not entirely sure but all's well. I love how they met at the airport and how the guy saw the books in her bag and not freaked out. I don't think there's a lot of man like that, it's probably destiny. It's hard to find a man who doesn't think of erotic books as perverted. Or freaky.

It was a sexy sort of read but I can't get into the older woman/younger man thing. Maybe when I'm 40 I'll want a 28 year old but until then, its a turn off for me dears. Some wicked hot scenes though full of angst, tension and passion. Let the fire burn.
