Very strange Thanksgiving book, seemingly written by a non-American who has never experienced Thanksgiving. The turkey is a dinner guest, rather than the main course, and the pot luck dish the Turkey brings is a “pumpkin pie” that is bizarrely baked with a top crust, unlike any pumpkin pie I have ever seen in my life!
