Extra Innings Baseball; All-Star Stories, Stats, Lore and Legends published by Armchair Digest is a great read for sports stats, learning about the game and the history of baseball.

One of the major pieces of this book is its storytelling. The authors are really good at bringing the game to life, whether they're telling the story of a historic game or telling about a legendary player. Each section is filled with super interesting details and topics that will keep readers interested from the beginning all the way to the end. It is really intriguing to find out where these cool stories and records come from. It's also amazing to see how much the game has changed from when it was created in the late 1800's to the present day.

This book also offers a lot of statistical information, which could include career batting averages to memorable World Series moments. This book is filled with stats that will satisfy even the most die-hard baseball fans. Even if you just want the book for the stats and great stories about your favorite players or the different time eras of baseball. I think it's pleasurable to learn all these facts about the game, and all its history. This book isn't just for crazy baseball fans, it's for anyone who likes to hear stories about baseball or even just trying to learn about the game more. With its mix of statistics, memories, and stories it is a great book for all baseball fans.

Armchair Digest’s “Extra Innings Baseball” is the best extra free time book. This non fiction fact based book has thousands of facts, from serious to comical. It has it all!

This book is not a usual book with a plot and a dialogue but a bunch of facts that help understand to the reader all the nitty gritty of baseball. Throughout the book, many headlines appear just once, however, there are some that have multiple pages dedicated to them throughout the book. Some of these headlines are, “All Time Greats” which includes famous baseball players who exceeded expectations, “Greatest Games of All Time” which consists of some of the most intense, or most hilarious games ever, and finally, “Learning the Lingo” It's a whole different language of the pros.

As someone who is not so knowledgeable about baseball, this book really helped me understand all the bits of baseball. People of all ages have something to learn from this book, even the masters. Before I started reading I barely knew any of the pros. Now I feel as if I could name the whole 1980’s New York Yankees roster. This book really makes it easy to understand how baseball players thought and what they did. I truly believe that this book is the perfect freetime activity. This is because of the fact that you can open to any page and instantly be entertained. The author's style with this book is unlike any other. The ability to open to any page allows constant concentration and helps readers that struggle to stay focused.

I believe this book is fantastic and should be read by everyone. Especially those who have trouble staying focused during a book.

Extra Innings Baseball is a thrilling book. It is not one story or about one player but rather a mix of all stories related to the sport. It discusses the game itself, its rules and strategies. It includes some of the greatest players to ever play baseball and how they got the number on their back to the various iconic stadiums and what makes those stadiums special. You can learn how baseball cards started. You will understand how the rules have not changed much since the very first game was ever played.
