I agree with another reviewer--Daniel is NOT a sidekick. The authors don't take themselves too seriously, which is good because Stargate didn't, either. Written mostly at the end of season 7, with one entry for season six.

Started reading this recently as I am in the middle of a Stargate marathon. Forgot how brilliant the book is. Short essays and quite a lot of things to think about. I disagree with David Gerrold in one of the essays, on account of Daniel being a sidekick though.

Definitely for the Stargate fan, but then, who else would have picked up this book? :-)
