the book is okay. not for beginners. if you are going to try the samples, make sure you are knowledgeable. I stopped reading when I was at linq to SQL. I couldn't make the SQL server compact 3.5 work with the 4.0 got annoyed why the author used that instead of the free northwind dbf.
