This book is great, because it is written for moms, by a mom. It has a personal feel, centered around nurturing, loving and caring for baby girls. This author also writes a similar book about baby boys, although I haven't read that, since I only have a daughter.
All through the book there are other quotes from moms with little girls, it is amazing how similar girls are to each other and how different they are from their male counterparts... even in the infant stages.
The book is divided into month stages, so 1-3 months is together, 4-7, 8-12, etc. I have kept up with the stage that Halleigh is on and it really gives solid, good, practical how-to/ advice and guidance.

Helpful! Much of the same information I have found in other baby books, yet some was gender specific which was nice.
