Kade Truett was happy the friend he helped rescue overseas was getting help in the form of a service dog. Since Kade broke his leg during that mission, he had the time to help him through the process. And his kindness paid off in a big way when he met the beautiful dog trainer, Annalise Ragsdale. Annalise never mixed business and pleasure, but she couldn’t help but fall for the sexy Navy SEAL. Especially when he was in the right place at the right time to rescue her as well. This February, nine of your favorite authors are bringing you tales of courage, valor, and sacrifice. These warriors carry their scars with pride and have given their all in the Line of Duty.

Owned by the Officer: A Line of Duty/Black Ops Crossover is another wonderful read in these series.

Fiona Davenport delivers quick tales of unrealistic intsa love. BUT if you read them for what they are, they can be a bit of fun even if there are bad guys, to give you the break you need for just a few hours.

Alpha hotties who instantly fall in love and fight the bad guys for their love.

Another fun insta-love

Okay, so with every insta-love from this author, you have to suspend reality, and just enjoy.

Because seriously, a 22 yr old, running her own successful PTSD dog training business is a bit of a stretch. But, again, it is entertaining to see Kade step in and claim her. Annalise and Kade have the expected sizzle and connection that make this quick read fun.

I enjoyed seeing the character crossovers, as I already knew those guys, and their stories. The HEA was expected, and on point.

I recommend this author and her numerous other works.

My reviews always contain spoilers, I write them so I can remember the story.

3.75/5 stars
Kade is a Navy Seal who is injured while rescuing a fellow serviceman, Simon who is being held hostage by insurgents. Both are home, Kade is still recovering from his broken leg and Simon is suffering from PTSD, he has been advised to get a service dog to help him cope. Annalise is a service dog trainer, when she was younger she saw how much a service dog helped her Air Force pilot brother cope with his PTSD, she decided that is what she was going to do when she grew up. Kade accompanies Simon to meet with the trainer and his potential service dog. He is immediately smitten with Annalise, to be able to spend more time with her he says he would like to foster a dog while he recovers. Annalise is equally smitten and is thrilled that he loves dogs and want to foster one, she has the perfect dog, Tucker. A bit of drama when a man comes into the facility and steals Tucker. While trying to stop him Annalise is hurt. Kade gets there right as the man pushes Annalise, hindered by his injured leg he can’t get to her fast enough or chase after the thief. The police and medics arrive, Kade says he’s her fiancé so they will let him into the ambulance while she’s being treated, after he takes her home with him. The next day she feels better and they have lots of sexy times. Her dad and brother are very protective of her and not happy she is staying with Kade. One they don’t know him and two he’s a Seal, not Air Force. Their banter is funny. Kade ask his military friends for help and find the thief and after a tense hostage situation at the hospital (Tucker bit him while trying to protect Annalise so bad guy needs medical help) he is captured and they find Tucker. I love yous and an epilogue with them married with two boys and adopting Tucker. The guys all still razz each other about Seals vs Air Force.

Kade, a Navy SEAL, meets Annalise through her work as a dog trainer. In the prologue, you get a first-hand account of Kade in battle, getting his leg broken. When Kade meets Annalise, he's still recovering from his injury but talks her into a date inder the guise of becoming a dog foster. He doesn't yet know she's from an Airforce family, so typical banter about branches of service leads to her almost choking on water. When she's attacked at work, he gets there in time to save her, but not the dog being dognapped. How will her Airforce family feel about him being Navy? Can they save the dog?

This was a fast read, covering a short amount of time while also being well developed. Only 1 or 2 typos. May not be suitable for sensitive readers.

This book is a part of the Line of Duty series and focuses on Kade and Annalise. Kade is a Navy SEAL who goes with a friend of his to a dog training facility to be paired up with a service dog when he meets Annalise. As soon as he sees her, he immediately knows that he has found his soulmate. Luckily, Annalise definitely feels the connection right off the bat. When Annalise gets injured trying to save Tucker, one of her dogs in training, Kade stops at nothing to make sure she is safe and taken care of while also trying to find Tucker for her. He uses the time he has her at his house to help her fall for him as hard as he has fallen for her. This was a great story and a great addition to the series.

I received a free copy of this book via the author and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Quick, delightful read from this duo! I loved Annalise & Kade! Their story has fun banter, a small military rivalry (*grin*), steam & dogs! 🧡 And of course the awesome HEA we always adore. 😉

There's also a furry friend in the story that made me smile - and want a dog. Which, I don't really want to take care of a dog, and if I get another pet it will be another cat, but this story (and the other story I read today) made me want a Tucker of my own! Such an awesomely written dog! I always have a soft spot in my heart for service animals, too.

Strong characters & hints to more in this series made me very happy while reading!

My quickie review: My love for Fiona Davenport knows no bounds. I am always happy when I grab one of their books and immerse myself in their stories. They are always so intense and downright sexy. Throw in an over the top alpha male with instant attraction to his lady and bam! Best stories ever. I have yet to find a book by Davenport that I didn’t love.

Something I loved about this one is that Kade wasn’t able to fully able to be the all out hero with a broken leg and all. But he did save the day in the end with a little help from his friends. Making this story more relatable and lovable and setting the stage for the next one in the series. 5 Stars.

quick insta love

Bare bones story. Quick and to the point insta chemistry turns into insta love when Annalise and Kade meet. He’s a navy seal and she’s the daughter of a retired pilot. Annalise has seen first hand what PTSD can do to a soldier having witnessed her brothers struggles so she finds passion I’m helping train service dogs meant for soldiers with ptsd. Kade is helping a friend deal with his PTSD and escorts him to his meeting with Annalise to match with a service dog. From this meeting all bets are off when it comes to what Kade wants, he’s going to get it. Spicy quick read.

First of all It's my first time writing here a review to one of my favorite authors ♥.

I love Kade and Annalise story. It's quick and lovely to read. I love how their jobs are very different but it's has a connection between the two. A hero who is a Navy seal and the heroine is a trainer for the service dogs (which I have a soft spot for service dogs). To see them meet because of that I can't help but swoon 😍.

One of the best part of the story is the father and brother of Annalise. There so entertaining as hell but so protective to the heroine. I hope Andrew can get his own book 🙏.

This was a good book. Kade Truett is a Navy Seal. This big man is tough but has a big heart. He is there for his team and friends. When he helps his friend get paired to a therapy dog.

Annalise Ragsdale loves her dogs. She helps service men and women get paired with service dogs. She is really attached to one particular dog named Tucker.

When Kade and Annalise meets each other for the first time. Their is an instant attraction between them. Add in a crazy man. This is a rollercoaster of a book. You get action and sex.

This was short fast-paced insta-love book that will have you laughing and needing some water. Kade is a swoon-worthy alpha that will do anything to get and keep his woman with him. Annalise is a sweetheart who very protective of her pups and the men in her life. Annalise and Kade were perfect together with their awesome connection and chemistry. There is some drama in this book but it brings Annalise and Kade closer together. I really enjoyed this book and I can’t wait for the rest of this series.

I received a free e-book copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.

Loved it

Super spicy read, hot injured Seal meets and falls for the PTSD dog trainer he meets when a friend needs a ride to an appointment with the trainer. Without giving to much away, the hero of the story does his thing with the help of his teammates (theme of the Black Ops series, no one goes it alone) and the HEA is always guaranteed when these two authors team up. This story was impossible to put down so I would recommend it to anyone needing a break for a spicy engaging read.

Dogs for PTSD Soldiers!

Owned by the Officer: Kade would help any of his team mates that needed but he knew Simon needed it the most because of the PTSD he was discharged from the Navy and he was really struggling. Simon had found out about dogs that were trained to help soldiers with PTSD and he was interested so he made an appointment to be match up and ask Kade to take him because he was not clear to drive. They when and Kade could not his of one of the training and Simon said go for it. It was a wonderful story!

so good

I started this and couldn’t put it down. This is more like it. It was action packed from the start. I was a little bit emotional at the beginning reading about PTSD. It breaks my heart to hear and see what our men and women go thru for our country and some come back no only with physical wounds but mental wounds and emotional wounds. I stay between two military bases so I see soldiers every day. I thank God for these men and women and also for their families. Again very good read.

Wow! So hot!

Really liked the book. Great characters with a sassy, sweet fmc and hot, loving alpha mc. My one issue is that after Tucker was stolen from her work and she was injured, she never contacted her work and the never contacted her. Not a deal breaker for the book but super odd she/they wouldn't have contacted each other to discuss the incident and her well being. Good story overall.

What a great start to the Line of Duty series

I really like both Kade and Annalise, and they both love dogs, so more bonus points too! This book has a little bit of everything: missions going FUBAR, breath stealing instalove, a bad guy on a mission, witty air force/navy banter, a dirty talkin' sexy hero, a feisty heroine and a team that have your back no matter what...everything you could need! I read this on Kindle Unlimited

enjoyable

Likable characters, definitely over the top insta love, and loved Annalise’s job. Liked seeing cameos from couples from previous books. Took a star off for the use of giggling instead of laughing. These are grown women, not toddlers. I don’t know any adult women who giggle and that infantilization of these women pulls me right out of the story every time. Other than that it’s everything I’ve come to expect and love about FD’s books.

I love this Black OPS series, I had been looking forward to more of these books. I love this story from beginning to end. It seemed to me that it has all the right touches, steamy, action, romanticism and the fun parts that were the ones I loved the most. Annalise is a sweet girl who has a protective father and brother, she meets Kade and from the first moment they meet, she knows that he is the one. Kade also knew that Annalise would be the only woman in his life. A very good story with HEA.

3.25⭐️ I actually really enjoyed this one. A dog trainer and an injured SEAL officer. They had great chemistry and as with all of these books by fiona Davenport, love at first sight. This one is part of the line of duty series by multiple authors, but has a big cross over with Davenport’s black ops series, including all of the side characters who each have their own books in black ops. Overall, a great, easy read.

Short, sweet and full of heat. Another great quickie from this duo. I loved Kade and Annalise so much! From their meet cute, to their HEA and everything in between. I loved the banter between not only Annalise and her brother but also between Kade and her brother and dad. Fiona never lets me down with their strong alpha men and the women who bring them to their knees.

Annalise is a dog trainer that trains service dogs. She met Kade a navy seal on leave while helping a friend connect with PTSD to get a service dog on his own. Like they say, no good deed goes unpunished. He met the perfect person that rocked his world at first sight. Love this story! Short but full of spice and some thrills! Did not disappoint!

A fun little read. As always, Fiona Davenport delivers a steamy instalove story that also gives you all the feels. Kade is alpha, but also mega sweet, protective and caring for his Annalise. I love the fact it included psychiatric dogs (I mean, any story could benefit from the addition of a dog in my opinion ;-) ). No unnecessary drama, just an hour or two of wonderful escapism! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I absolutely love the newest book in the Line of Duty series. Kade is on leave after being injured. He meets Analise when he brings a friend to find a service dog, and they become connected when he saves her after agreeing to foster a service dog who is being taken when he gets there. I love their sweet story and am really enjoying every book in this series.

Kade & Annalise

There is so much to love about this book! It’s instalove - my favorite. He’s a navy seal. She’s a dog trainer - but not just a regular dog trainer, she trains dogs for veterans with PTSD. There are dogs!! It’s very steamy!! And they live happily ever after. So good!

Wow Wee

Loved these characters!!!! The angst was off his rocker, poor guy. Annalise was the sweetest person, she didn’t deserve anything bad happening to her. Good thing she meet the very possessive Kade. This book was super funny with all the military jargon.. Love the dogs and kiddos
