A statistics book specifically geared towards the education community. This book gives educators the statistical knowledge and skills necessary in everyday classroom teaching, in running schools, and in professional development pursuits. It emphasizes conceptual development with an engaging style and clear exposition.
So, our class only got to like Chapter 11 in the semester, but that was enough for me and my math career forever (I hope). What this book does well: If you take the time to read the very lengthy explanations, it's pretty straight forward when you get the hang of it. What it sucks at: Following its own teachings. This book does not round or set ranges the way advised in the text, which is super frustrating for someone who just wants to be told what to do in math.
