I enjoyed this as well, Grady is someone pretty rigid and un-fun and older than Lily and too and Lily adds colour into his life when she decides to brighten his life. I admit the premise is weird and Lily does act all knowing and doesn't foresee the consequences of what she is doing but the book was decent.

3 1/2 stars because massage therapy is an awesome profession, Las Vegas is an awesome town, and new age weirdness rocks some serious chakra buttage. Great story of the romance between an older, stuck-in-his-ways Air Force officer and a spunky, free-spirited massage therapist. Nicely done for a category romance.

Spellbinding

You want this couple to make it from the start. With breath stealing sexual content, you want her to be able to seduce him, and for him to be able to rescue her

Category romances aren't my thing, and this won't be my favorite book of 2018. But craft-wise, the author tied in a subplot nicely. There's a throwaway line near the beginning that seems merely to serve to set-up the conceit (in this case--a lost bet between friends) that later ties in to become integral to the main plot. Well-done. (I received this novel in a gift bag and read it in a couple of hours.)
