The youngest child with limited vocabulary will be reading this title their self as well as locating fishy in the bold brightly colored illustrations as it only has two repeating sentences and a final third one. The repeating sentences are only two words. Interesting that this particular Gomi title is published in Japan, Asia, the United States, Australia, and United Kingdom and Ireland. Definitely a world wide appeal and early skill development title and fun at the same time.

Gomi Taro is my favorite children's book author. This is just one of many great books.
If you speak Japanese check out 'Kotowaza Eihon'. Patches- you'll love it.

Extremely simple words in this book. "Where's fishy?" Your child has to find the fish in the pictures. Cute book.
