180 pages of angst, 4 pages of happy. Very typical Caroline Anderson. Only a couple of hers DON'T have this formula. I liked those.😜

Though this is under Single Dad grouping in HR the opening is mainly the mother or h of the story. Maisie and Rob have been divorced for twenty one years. Their daughter while going to college close to her father's home gets engaged to a man her father approves of. Maisie lives six hundred miles away. She is not happy with the fact her daughter is marry let alone to a man from Scotland. Her own marriage ended badly. Though she still loves Rob and has never remarried she is still afraid for her daughters happiness. Rob never asked her why she left all those years ago so is still bitter with her leaving. As the story goes both will find answers and find acceptance. But will the past still be festering so much that neither will be able to get their own happy ending like their daughter? What happened all those years ago? Will the truth finally come out? This is one book that will go into my fav to read file to read again.

This is a wonderful, sweet romance. The characters are real, the emotions easy to relate to, and the HEA just perfect!

Es una historia linda, ya que no ocurre en la edad adolescente no joven, son dos adultos casi llegando al cuarto piso (Rob el protagonista tiene 42 años)
ES ver como llega de nuevo el amor, uno que nunca se fue, que sufrió un gran malentendido.

La historia es de Maisie que se enamora de Rob pero no sabe nada de el, no que le gusta ni que hace, ni cual es su familia, es inocente, y rob tampoco sabe nada de ella, se enamoran, se casan.
Pero el sale a trabajar con la Armada por 6 años, deja a su mujer en manos de sus padres, quienes creen que esta con el por dinero.


En ese espacio las cosas se dañan, pero pasan separados 20 años, nunca se casaron de nuevo y pasan cosas comiquisimas como que le pide matrimonio, como que se dan a conocer de nuevo

es una historia linda, bastante recomendable

I liked the book, but would have liked to bash Rob and Maisie over the head for not reconciling earlier. I love the theme of reuniting lovers/spouses, but in this case just talking to each other could have solved the problems between them. Hence 4/5 stars and not 5/5. But the book is written extremely well and is enjoyable. You can help but feel bad for them having kept themselves apart for over 20 years.

Quise un poco más de pasión de la pareja al final. Eso de que ella desea intimidad y él la cachetea con eso de que no, "dentro de 15 días", WTF??? Por dios, son adultos, tienen una hija adulta.
