Katsura Hoshino ((星野 桂 Hoshino Katsura) was born on April 21, 1980, in Shiga Prefecture, Japan, as the younger of fraternal twin girls and the second of three children. She drew her first manga at twenty-one. In 1998, Hoshino moved to Tokyo. She dreamed of bringing her mother to the city and was able to in 2006.
She made her debut with her comics in July 2003 with the publication of her first manga series Continue and is known for her work, D.Gray-man, which began serialization in Shueisha's Weekly Shōnen Jump in May 2004.

Color artwork for D.Gray-Man! Woo! Beautiful color artwork, lots of comments from Hoshino in the index with translations for images where translations are necessary. Also discussions between Hoshino and other manga writers.
If you like DGM, definitely worth checking out!
My only real complaint is that when I opened it for the first time, one of the pages fell out, which makes me worry about the print's quality a bit. Now I'm afraid to look through it too much.

Pour les fans de la série, cet artbook sera un très beau cadeau. C'est très agréable de voir l'évolution du dessin de l'autrice ainsi que certaines couvertures de tomes en entier. J'ai apprécié les grandes doubles pages ainsi que les croquis plus petits.

This art book is absolutely stunning, and completely worth the buy for any manga fan. The pages are printed on very high-quality paper and they have a slight glossy finish. Each of the pictures gets either its own page or a double spread and is stunning in its detail. All were originally coloured by Katsura Hoshino (not anyone who works with her).
What is not mentioned in the description is that the book (with the current picture of the white-haired Allan) is actually a removable cover, and underneath is a whole host of sketches by the author! There is also an appendix at the back that explains each of the main pictures in the book and the thought process that went into creating them, and really adds to the background of the series. These were great surprises, and really made NOCHE worth while.
I was also very impressed with how quickly this shipped to New Zealand, for any Kiwi fans out there :)
Highly recommended.
