Fun, especially the illustrations. Some were actually new to me, or were variations, for example "The Sparrows' Tug-of-War" I know from a picturebook set in Brazil (West Africa is the source tag here). The art is charming, looks to me very much like that of Michael Hague. Includes glossary and an 'acknowledgements' page that could serve as bibliography for further reading.
