Explains the basics about most plants you can imagine, not organized the best though. Have to look for a minute before finding what you want, but, has good information.

I really liked reading the narrative that went along with the sections. I think of trees, hedges, shrubs and weeds differently. I also want to try to have some patio plants and herbs this year. Very encouraging and gives a lot of information on various medicinal, flowering and scented gardens. Also gives suggested recipes using the different herbs and plants.

I like the handy small size of this book and all the photographs as well as the arrangement. Kind of like a little encyclopedia. Cool that it contained historical information about the plants but would have liked more clinical information.
