This was a neat little book; it helps children to learn about fire fighters and what they do. The book breaks down what a fire fighter is, what they do, what equipment they use, what they wear on the job, how they use the equipment, how they help people and animals, and how they stay safe in fires. It’s a nice story to help children learn about community helpers.

This was a simple book for Toddlers and older children to learn and comprehend. My son (5) loved it, he is really into firetrucks and firefighters right now. This book covers what fire fighters do, how they help people, and the equipment they use to do their job. Each page uses a short sentence accompanied by a picture to explain what fire fighters do.
