Cibola is Sci-Fi Thiller, or at least I believe that is what I'd classify it as. There were many references to older Sci-Fi authors, of whom, for the most part, I was unfamiliar with. That's certainly not a negative, as I do not have a very broad background in older Sci-Fi.
I enjoyed the story quite a bit, it kept me guessing until the end. I thought the characters were well developed and engaging as well.
I picked this one up at a local bargain bin because it was short and the cover clearly indicated it would be a Sci-Fi novel. Sometimes I like a short book in between long reads, it makes for a good change of pace. I was not disappointed with my choice.
