This would be a great book to read after we have read about the first Thanksgiving. This book is about the modern tradition of getting ready for Thanksgiving. I think it would be fun to compare how they use to do Thanksgiving with how they do it in this book and how students celebrate at their own homes. It may be fun for them to do little Thanksgiving projects together that are present in the books or even do some of the traditions that they do at home.

A fun and funny rhyming book about celebrating Thanksgiving as a family. It brought back many sweet memories. And the pictures were well done!
