There are a million species! How do you do it in 300 pages?
Answer is that you have to make compromises. This author's trade-offs among taxonomy, pictures, brief textual descriptions, Latin names, keying out insects by their physical characteristics etc. is well thought out. I'll add to this review after using the book a while.
