About the author

Bruce Johnson has over 30 years of experience teaching children and teens from preschool through high school, as well as to college students and parents. He holds a Master's Degree in Reading Education, and is currently a Reading Specialist with the Merrimack Valley School District in New Hampshire. His popular Guides for Parents series, including Helping Your Child Become Successful in School, have been well received. He is also the author of numerous children's books that seek to increase parent involvement in their children's reading.
