This is just what the doctor ordered for my peace of mind and general well being. It's a light hearted, feel good 'chat' with a friend kind of book. While putting a smile on my face, it's wisdom and common sense as well as an undercurrent of deep faith is thought provoking. Mr. Howard's advise on home work to his college students (he's a college professor along with being a husband, father, farmer, general all around good guy) is reason enough for reading this book! (Where was he when I was in college? I could have used his sage advise!!) All in all, this is a gem of a little book and I will be looking for more of his books to enlighten and entertain me. Thank you, Mr. Howard!!

I got this while it was free on Amazon and am so glad I did. I was drawn to it for the cover and found some absolutely wonderful stories inside. Where has this author been?
This book is 52 stories (have to take the author's word for it since I didn't count them) three to four screens in length on the Fire. Some are laugh out loud funny while others make you want to grab a tissue. He can tell a great story. Will be looking for something longer from him.
