Economics

Rate this book
Economics is a living discipline. Through nine editions of Economics, our basic motivation has been to provide a text that reflects the tremendous changes in the discipline over the decades. The first major theme of this book is to reflect the movement of economics toward becoming a science and exhibiting the key characteristics that marks any the systematic confrontation of theory with observation. A second major theme concerns the relationship between economic theory and economic policy. The third major feature has to do with the way we view students. We have tried to be as honest with them as possible within the limits of an introductory textbook.

Giving a shoutout to this book for getting me through my MSc because these guys are genuinely some of the only economists who can communicate economics in a clear way.

Lipsey made Economics so easy to digest and going to my Economics class back in college was not so bad after all.
