Book of Scandal gives us the meat of the Ramsey Elders. This is the book where all of the treachery and deceit began. AlTonya has a way of keeping you wanting more. Another great read!

This book really answers a lot of questions from the previous books and makes you see why the elders behave how they do. Wow, Marcus is really one sick SOB! I'm really shocked that in the previous books there was no mention of him being a psychopath because he really is. A lot of the things he did were just really despicable. Other than Houston & Daphne the rest of the Elders are pretty sane, and you can see how the children turned out the way they did. Read this series in order if you haven't already done so.

I absolutely loved this book...It shined so much light on the last 11 books...The elders was very entertaining....a little sad at times...but this book was wonderfully written...

This was such a great back story to the Ramseys and Tesanos and I am so happy that I got this book. My review is a long time coming and yes sometimes life just gets in the way and there are delays LOLL!
In this explosive story of "The Ramsey Elders" you get the back story of the Black, Rich and Powerful Family. You learn the sins of the Elders specifically those demons brothers Marcus and Houston and where everything stems from. You will see a mother who knows her sons aren't about nothing but begs the father to let them work in the family firm, all to the detriment of not only him but other family members as well.
We see the back story of the siblings and how marriages came to be, babies of the next generation are born and down right evil unfolding that will burst outside of the Ramseys scope. There was a very dark act that came to light and the swearing between two women that it will never be revealed. I was clearly disturbed by it and since I have not finished the series I am wondering how this author will come back to it or if she will not further explain. I am hoping that she will provide answers to it.
Amazing back story, that will answer some questions but then will open up newer questions. I am excited to continue reading this series and looking forward to purchasing the rest of the books.

When this book was first released I read it in one sitting, I was anxious the whole time, I was afraid someone would post spoilers. After I read it I remember loving it but vow not to read it again. I LIED. I read it this time soaking every word and paying attention to every detail. What an awesome book. Now I will read about one of my favorite couple Sabella and Isak

I have read all of the books in the Ramsey series and was curious about how did this family get off course and wanted to know a little more about the secrets that you knew were looming about.
The Book of Scandal tells how it began and exposes the family members for who they were. I read the book in one afternoon as once I began I just had to know the rest of the story.
I actually changed my opinion on a couple of characters.
Well done - cannot wait to read about the Tesanos as I know will learn even more about the Ramsey's especially the girl cousins.

A great read .... Love this series but for me this is still one of the best.
A very good read ... The Ramsey Elders is one of the best in the Ramsey series, it set the stage for what was how it began and what's to cone. Would love to see the Ramsey story as a movie. Love it love it love it

I thought knowing how it all started would maybe help me understand but it only reinforced the fact... Marcus is empty and dead inside as his father stated... I can't wait to see him get his.. Ms Washington you really did an awesome job in this series...

CAPTIVATING…….Grabbed you, held you and wouldn’t let you go until the very last page…..and even then you wanted more……As always with the Ramsey series this one was GREAT………
