No author credit, and a lot of facts just plain wrong, but what a joy to read. An innocent and loving account of The Beatles, written for young fans in 1964. Great pictures, however, make the book very worthwhile.

I don't need to read it, it's beautiful! Teen mag style bios of all four Beatles, written in the first rush of Beatlemania. Loads of pictures and a fold out poster in the middle. Valuable now as an artifact, 50c. then as a marketing gimmick. The Authors were more prescient than they could have imagined when they said 1964 would be known as "the year of The Beatles."
