The teaching notes for the Oxford Reading Tree Biff, Chip and Kipper books are full of practical suggestions for using the storybooks, saving you hours of preparation time. They have been updated in line with the simple view of reading and the renewed Primary Framework for Literacy. They now include guidance for group/guided reading, comprehension and word recognition, and assessment. These replace the existing Teaching Notes and Guided Reading Cards.
The storybooks are unchanged, but notes for parents/carers and teaching assistants have been added to the inside covers. These notes replace the existing Take-Home Cards.
I liked this story, Biff and kipper wanted the new carpet because they carpet were torn and Mom also need. They didn't have enough money to buy carpet. They were crying and the Dad get him in to a shop. When Dad choose a mess carpet. Biff didn't like this. When thy came home they clean washing the carpet. The carpet was looking so good. Suddenly the magic key began to glow and they bent in a prison. There went into a prison they see a girl was crying. When they asked whats the matter he said''i need a new doll but my siblings got me in a prison because i need a new doll. Then the magic key was began to glow. So there were nothing moral but only one moral that thank got for God.
I HATE, HATE, HATE THE MAGIC KEY BOOKS!!! THEY ARE AWFUL!!! THEY ARE NOTHING BUT CUTESY, ANODYNE AND BORING!!! I WAS FORCED TO READ THGESE TERRIBLE BOOKS BY MY PRIMARY SCHOOL AND THEY, FOR A LONG TIME, MADE READING AN AWFUL CHORE!!! IF HELL HAD A LIBRARY, IT WOULD BE WELL-STOCKED WITH THESE BOOKS!!! Also, I don't usually write reviews that are like this, but I just had to with books as rubbish as these.
