Westwood provides a succinct summary of information about Atlantis: the origin in Plato's writing, the theories that have sprung up during the centuries, attempts to find archaeological evidence, as well as some brief references to the mythical space in fiction. Short yet solid, and beautifully illustrated. Well worth the read as an introductory overview of the subject.
