About the author

Larry Hama is an American writer, artist, actor and musician who has worked in the fields of entertainment and publishing since the 1960s.

During the 1970s, he was seen in minor roles on the TV shows M*A*S*H and Saturday Night Live, and appeared on Broadway in two roles in the original 1976 production of Stephen Sondheim's Pacific Overtures.

He is best known to American comic book readers as a writer and editor for Marvel Comics, where he wrote the licensed comic book series G.I. Joe, A Real American Hero, based on the Hasbro action figures. He has also written for the series Wolverine, Nth Man: the Ultimate Ninja, and Elektra. He created the character Bucky O'Hare, which was developed into a comic book, a toy line and television cartoon.

This reads like a 90s action flick. Lots of run'n'gun going on, while Team X from Marvel is having a crossover with Team 7 from Image. Both teams trying to destroy some labs and kill everyone in there, that everyone is Omega Red and his cronies.

Logan, Creed, Wraith, Maverick, all before the Weapon X program became what it was and way before the X-Men. Some nice guest appearances and a bunch of one-liners along with a million bullets flying all over the place. Great artwork too.

Someone on The Team 7 (or X?!) here mentions the 70s, and that would mean that the comic takes place later than that (which publish-wise it does) and Team X was active in the 60s and not later than that, before the X-Men were founded, hell, the Team X was active before the Weapon X program, Logan wouldn't pop his claws back then for no reason, and the same goes for here too. It's the "origin" of the Weapon X program if you will, everyone has powers but everyone hides it still. So there are some asynchronies along the way throughout the story.

Larry Hama, veterano del Nam, si diverte a scrivere questa storia in cui unisce il passato dei Team 7 con quello del Team X come se fossero un'universo condiviso. Nonostante tutto la storia non è che sia intrigante, ma almeno ha i disegni di un buon Steve Epting e nonostante la colorazione pesante si fà leggere.
Diciamo che siano sulle 2 stelle e mezza.

Stgeve Epting did a correct job here.
Larry Hama wrote a short and boring story.
You don't need more than 22 pages to tell a story like this.
