How nice would it be to receive notes of encouragement each day. To hear through anyone the encouragement only God can give. Grace for the Moment is way for you to do just that. Max Lucado has put together notes of encouragement and enlightenment to help guide you throughout the day. These notes are simple notes from the Father with a scripture base. Max Lucado is known for types of books such as this one.
What I really liked about this one was that it was a great gift book because it s leather bound type cover and it is simply beautiful. This is not the first printing of this book it has been published many times--which speaks of its popularity. A great book for this season!

You all know how much I love my devotionals. I feel that you need to spend time with God and His word daily in order to have a relationship with Him.
When my copy of Grace for the Moment by Max Lucado arrived I immediately knew I had to review it before Christmas as it would make a wonderful gift for any Christian in your life, especially the easy-to-read comfort-size print edition which I received, which has a leather flex cover and a ribbon marker - it is absolutely beautiful! I was looking for a gift for my Bible Study Advent Prayer partner and knew this devotional would fit them perfectly.
This is literally a book of daily inspiration, perfect to keep on your bed stand to read before rising each morning or before your head hits the pillow each night. Lucado has a way of making you think about a Bible verse truly turn it into a life lesson.

This devotional takes excerpts from Max Lucado's other books and condenses them into morning and evening devotionals. Each one is headed by a Scripture reading. I cheated a little...I read both of them in the mornings. I tried reading one in the evening, but kept forgetting.
I don't always agree with Max's theology, but then I don't always agree with anyone's theology. Many of these writings resonated with just what I needed to hear that day. Always amazing how God does that.

Just recently purchased this but started at the beginning and am reading a few pages a day.... It's providing me with some hope and inspiration that I am desperately needing right now...........
Still reading this every morning and will continue through the end of the year - awesome and inspirational....... Am planning on passing it on when I'm through!

A great way to atart the day with some inspiration and end the day also. Max gives out a verse from the bible then uses his wisdom to bring to us in a way to inspire. I looked forward to reading the verses evry day and night when I could.

We have used this daily devotional book for four years now. Its cover is almost worn out, but the contents never grow old. Max Lucado at his best. And we used it again in 2014. (Now the cover is really tattered.)

I really liked this devotional. Max Lucado has some really good examples and illustrations that are fresh and thought-provoking. I will use it another year to glean more insights from God's Word.
